As many of you are beginning exercise programs and focusing on eating healthier. I am so excited to be a part of it! I want to help in any way I can. I am going to offer some suggestions for those that are brand new or coming back to exercise. Shoot for 4-5 days a week, 30 consecutive minutes. I suggest walking or swimming. With so many people around here that run, it's tempting to take part in that. But, give your body and mind time to adjust to the thought of it all. If you are over weight, running will put extra stress on your joints and that might discourage you from continuing on with your program! In a month or so, we'll look at adding weight bearing exercises. For now, just get used to the thought that this is something you are going to do for the rest of your life! Find what you love and praise God along the way! I promise you'll feel better!

I haven't left for vacation yet, but I did start reading the Mortals book a little bit last night. I can't wait to get more involved!
