I am excited about summer approaching! I will be taking off of my usual classes for June and July. That sounds horrible to some, I'm sure. But what an awesome time to get in some cross training and give some of my other joints a break!
With the heat already here, I look forward to getting in the pool with others. I know some people run well in hot weather, however, I am not one of them.
Our muscles have memory and it is good to "switch things up on them" to keep the body guessing!
We get in a rut with our routines. So, that being said, I hope you find an exciting new way to switch up your workouts this summer. Maybe it's walking or biking more with your family. Or playing in the pool. Maybe you're someone who will discover running this summer. Whatever it is, enjoy and have fun! Exercise doesn't always have to be a chore!
Just get up and MOVE!
