Tomorrow is Monday. Probably the number one day for "diets started". What if THIS Monday, you decided to change for life! No more "diets"! Learning to eat for life, not for vain reasons! So many of us diet and workout to "look good". But, ultimately, our goal should be to live long, healthy lives! If we honestly LEARN how to eat and how to work out, we are choosing to take control! In doing this, we teach our children healthier lives. And we pray that they grow up never having to diet!
Exercise doesn't always have to be in a gym! Playing Frisbee with your kids, throwing the ball around, walking around your neighborhood, gardening. If you make it part of your life now, it will be there for the long run. I have heard that it takes 30 days to "make a habit". Why not start working on your new healthy lifestyle and making it a healthy habit?
This is the time of year when there are so many fresh veggies and fruits (Yeah, Watermelon season is just around the corner). Try grilling them and getting outside!
My prayer this week is that whoever reads this blog and is struggling to take control, will find a new way to enjoy the "challenge" of a healthy new life!
