Good excuses

Have you ever wondered when you really have a good excuse to skip your workout? Here are some facts I have discovered that may help you in the future, (and excuses I have definitely heard from people before).
The general rule of working out with a cold is this. Do the "neck check". If your symptoms are below your neck, (chest, cough, muscle aches), it is better to rest. A fever is another good indication that you may need to take some time off. However, if it's just a pesky cold or seasonal allergies, feel free to get moving.
When you are feeling crampy, bloated and/or cranky, GET OUT AND MOVE! It is proven that exercise will help you feel better by mobilizing excess fluids and give you an injection of endorphins, the feel good hormones triggered by exercise.
Headache? Get moving! If it is a migraine, get some rest!
Put these methods to the test the next time you are tempted to skip your workout! I give you my word, you'll feel better after you "get moving"!
